| The
Old Post Office is situated in the centre of the picturesque village
of Mousehole, overlooking the harbour, and is an excellent holiday
home for up to four people. The accommodation consists of a sitting room, kitchen/diner, two bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with two single beds), a cot is also available. There is an upstairs bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC, an additional WC and wash-hand basin is located downstairs. A colour television and video are provided. There is also a microwave oven and a washer/dryer as well as the usual kitchen facilities. Like most of the traditional homes in the village, the Old Post Office was built of Cornish granite. Dating from the days of horse-drawn vehicles, no allowance was made for parking in front of the house. However, today there are 3 car parks nearby. There is a pleasant small beach in the harbour area, but due to the tide it is not always exposed. There are several excellent larger beaches within 10 miles. |
