Lilac Cottage is a small, beamed, Cornish cottage in the hamlet of Trenale, just outside Tintagel. Downstairs is a lounge/dining room and separate kitchen. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. From the cottage there are views over Tintagel to Port Isaac bay. Outside is a small patio garden. The surfing beach of Trebarwith Strand is just a 1-mile walk away.
This is an ideal base for exploring the rugged north coast of Cornwall, from Bude to Padstow. In the south Bodmin, Bodmin Moor and the Eden Project are all within easy reach.
