3 Seaview Salterns Beach Chalets have been modernised to Premier
standard providing the most comfortable accommodation for your seaside
holiday. They are the same sizes and designs throughout and superbly
situated, with Yangeyange #65 and Kingoyo #66 beside the Hersey Lake
& Nature Reserve, less than two minute’s walk to the beach, with
their own secluded decking areas, and Kokota #54 with front decking,
less than a stone’s throw from the beach. They are a short
walk along the seafront to the village of Seaview with its boats, shops,
bars and restaurants. Yangeyange and Kingoyo are both English Tourist Board rated to 3 Star Gold Award; Kokota is fitted to the same standard and awaits accreditation. Each chalet has its own decking and there is private off-road parking. 300m to village. Pets by agreement. Short breaks available. Changeover day: Saturday arr. from 3pm, dep. by 10am. Cottage and Perry Cottage are tastefully renovated cozy and delightful
Grade II listed stone terraced holiday cottages. Bakers Cottage
is situated in the old Bakers Yard, with Perry Cottage situated in St.
Mary Street in the charming and historic conservation village of Nether
Stowey. Both cottages offer self catering accommodation for 2 – 4 guests
with luxury beds and Bakers Cottage also offers a comfortable double sofa
bed (for additional guests). Both cottages have log burners and Perry
Cottage also has an elegant Georgian fire place. The first basket of logs
is provided so that our guests can enjoy a cosy fire within minutes of
arrival. The cottages also provide gas central heating. There are a 22” flat screen TV’s with DVD & CD player’s and ipod docks are provided. We have provided a small selection of DVDs that our guests are welcome to use during their stay. The kitchens are fully equipped. The bathrooms in both cottages provide instant hot water by a combination boiler. Linen & towels are provided and electricity and gas are included in the letting fee. Broadband is also available free. Bakers Cottage is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful area around Nether Stowey and provides an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the countryside with walks on the rolling hills and moors. The coast is within easy reach - with the nearest beach at Kilve (5 miles) where you can hunt for fossils. and Castle Sween estates lie between Lochs Sween & Caolisport.
This is the scenery which has made the West Coast of Scotland famous.
The shore consists of rocky outcrops with inlets and sandy beaches,
islands and islets and just cries out to be explored. The structure
of the rock forms a series of large or small glens and corries which lie
in the same direction making walking the hills a sheer delight. Many
comment that the same fascination can be experienced on a short walk, not
far from the accommodation where they are staying, as from a long
expedition into the hills; although I would recommend, for anyone staying
more than a few days, to head out to Corrbhan Mor which is the highest
point of Ellary and Castle Sween estates, and for me, the most beautiful
country. The Lochead Chalets have generous verandahs. They have two bedrooms, one double and one with full size bunks. There is a kitchenette off the living room and a shower in the bathroom. The large living room windows have beautiful views across the head of the loch, making them especially popular with bird watchers and anglers. |
