Cabhalan Cottage is a cosy modernised crofthouse with 4 feet thick stone walls in a secluded, peaceful spot 100 metres from the seashore. The cottage sleeps upto six people in two/three bedrooms and enjoys uninterrupted views across the sea to Skye, the Cuillins and the west coast of the Scottish mainland. It is reached down a half-mile private road, the nearest house is half a mile away in each direction and there is a small sheltered bay with anchorage behind the cottage. Ideal for viewing seals, otters and seabirds.
Situated overlooking Loch Flodabay, built around 1780 the single storey cottage was originally a 'blackhouse' and has walls four feet thick! Fully renovated it now has all mod-cons and is a simple but comfortable dwelling. Now with satellite broadband internet connection the cottage is perfect for those wanting a ‘get-away’.

The Area Surrounding Bolberry South Devon:  
Bolberry is in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and it is half a mile to the South West Peninsula Coast Path. This stretch of Coast Path at Bolberry Downs is acknowledged as having some of the most spectacular scenery of the entire 570 miles.     
The location can be termed as peaceful, but not isolated, as it is two miles from a village, half a mile from a pub, and in the summer, 200 yards from a camp shop.
The sandy beaches of Hope Cove and Soar Mill Coves are just over a mile away. Malborough Village is also just over a mile away and the Texaco garage has extensive opening hours. 
Salcombe is four miles away and Kingsbridge six. Both have all the facilities of a small town, Kingsbridge even has a supermarket.
