Our comfortable beach house is in Bacton, on the peaceful North Norfolk coast, about 50 yards from a sandy beach. The house faces towards the sea across a large cliff-top green, with steps down to the beach. It is part of a quiet estate of beach bungalows built in the 1930s, each privately owned, with A-line roofs and white weatherboard exteriors.
The house has two bedrooms (one double, one with bunk beds plus optional single), sitting room (with sofas, wood-burning stove and Freeview TV/DVD), sunroom (with dining table and sofa), kitchen (with electric oven, microwave, fridge and washing machine), and bathroom (with electric shower, bath and WC). The sunroom opens onto a small patio garden, which in turn opens onto the large green. There are books, games and radios, and gas central heating and logs when required. Bring your own linen and towels.
