Mersea Island Cottage and location description- Situated on the Coast Road just yards from the beach, sea, boats and fabulous fish restaurants, this charming 17th century fisherman’s cottage has a lovely beach-house feel. Enjoy the beach and gaze at the boats at anchor or sit in the large garden. The island ideal for bird-watching, walking and watersports, is reached by a causeway (cutting the island off for half an hour every so often). West Mersea is famous for its seafood with diners travelling miles for its fresh fish, oysters and lobsters. Nearby there are delis, shops and supermarkets. Pubs within a short walk. 
Kitchen -cooker, fridge, washing machine and microwave. Bathroom with bath and shower over. Dining for four. Comfortable sitting room with TV. Steep cottage stairs leading to one double and one twin bedroom (2’6” beds). Linen and towels included. Roadside parking. Garden. Patio furniture.
