Smithy Cottage is a charming 200 year old former blacksmiths set in the rural hamlet of Grindale and has been restored to a very standard. The cottage boasts 2 bedrooms, one with a luxurious four poster bed and drapes. Extensive wooden flooring and original beams are complemented by leather furniture and a large inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove. The cottage is less than 100 yards from the village mere, a haven for wildlife and birds and the village itself is a short drive from the spectacular Heritage coast and the nearby resorts of Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough.
